Tabla Training India
'Sadhana Samvruddhi Adhyasan', established in 2001, is a special endeavor, taken up with the objective of the revival of the Guru-Shishya Parampara. This activity aims at introducing upcoming talent to the renowned artistes and Gurus, who can really provide them with expert guidance, so as to make them able to become performing musicians. The students are selected on the basis of their musical abilities and aptitude. Once selected, all possible efforts are made to transform them into ardent Shishyas, resulting in total commitment to the Guru and the cause. 'Talayogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar', an internationally recognized Tabla player and Guru, as wel

Apart from the training in Tabla and Harmonium, under his leadership, another internationally acclaimed artiste 'Smt.Shama Bhate', a famous Kathak exponent, has also joined the institute and is managing the Kathak education program. Kolhapur being the central place in Western and Southern Maharashtra, apart from local students, those from the nearby areas are availing the benefits of the scheme. The institute provides accommodation facilities for the outstation students. Under the scheme, the institute arranges at least 3 days’ workshop in every month, during which, Pt. Suresh Talwalkar and Smt.Shama Bhate’ along with their disciples,

work very hard with the students. The students are then expected to attend a common practice session i.e. 'Riyaaz', at the institute on weekly basis. The institute expects encouraging results from the scheme, which can be a model solution for the prevailing circumstances. Gayan Samaj Deval Club is thus trying to keep the harmony between the contemporary education system for the masses and the traditional Guru-Shishya Parampara for the effective dissemination of classical music.
